Spend 7 nights living onboard a modern sailing boat as part of a ‘ladies only crew’ exploring beautiful coastlines and islands at leisure. You will be staying on board a Oceanis 44 or 48 (44 or 48 foot monohull), professionally skippered and hosted by two lovely ladies.

This is a gentle adventure holiday geared for teamwork and relaxation, mindfulness and recuperation, sociable, friendly and lots of fun!
We sail or motor to a different harbour every day and can include a stop at an anchorage on the way.  There will be plenty of time to participate in sailing, boat handling, swimming, taking therapeutic walks, exploring beautiful villages and anchorages or simply relaxing on deck with a book.

Enjoy optional mindful morning stretches followed by freshly prepared breakfasts after which we sail or motor to a different harbour every day. We often include a stop at an anchorage on the way to enjoy swimming and eating delicious lunches served on board.

You don’t need to have previous sailing experience to come on our sailing holidays, but this is an opportunity for hands on experience to be part of the crew working together as a team even if you only want to help with making tea and washing up!  We love teaching sailing and will encourage active participation but that is not compulsory.   Your skipper will happily teach any of the sailing and boat handling that interests you.

Enjoy relaxed sailing as part of a team, you’ll learn how to work together to sail the boat and even share galley duties!

About this trip

Cannigione can be found in the gulf of Arzachenais, a beautiful area with a picturesque town, retaining an unspoilt local charm. From there north, we can explore the Maddalena Archipelago, east along the luxurious Costa Smeralda the Emerald Coast and Corsica or west to the quiet inlets and fishing towns of Sardinia.

Specific sailing routes are variable as they are weather dependant.

 2025 Dates:

  • 6th  – 13th September
  • 13th  – 20th September
  • 20tth – 27th September            

Location:

Sailitalia/Sunsail, Via A.Vespucci, 28 Cannigione, (Sassari), Sardinia Italy

Embarkation:  On Saturday any time after 6 pm
Disembarkation is the following Saturday at 9 am

Nearest Airport:   The nearest airport is Olbia Airport. Olbia Airport is approximately 17 miles from the base. By car, the journey to the base takes about one hour

Transfer: Your taxi transfer can be arranged at your request

Food:  Breakfast and lunch are eaten on board, (prepared beautifully by your host) and we generally have evening meals in one of the wonderful local restaurants. Team supper on board is an option if we anchor in a quiet bay overnight.

  • Team Polo Shirt: We have team polo shirts to wear as we enter harbours so we can be easily identified, and the shirts are extremely practical
  • Yvonnes Kikoy Sarong (Optional) Buying Yvonne’s beautiful and practical African Kikoy sarongs enables Yvonne to pay for her children’s education in Nairobi. We ask you to consider a donation towards the cost to us £25

Cancellation Policy:

  • Non-refundable £40 booking charge the remaining can be fully refunded on cancellation up until 90 days prior to departure.
  • Cancellations made after 60 days prior to embarkation 50% refund
  • Cancellations made after 40 days prior to embarkation are non-refundable.

We highly recommend you buy your holiday insurance as soon as possible. We day sail on a chartered yacht on inshore waters, during the day so insurance needs to be for activity holidays, inshore waters, flotilla sailing.
