Sailing In Cornwall
Sailing Days from St Mawes
Suited to women of all ages who are interested in sailing whether you are a complete beginner or experienced crew wanting to gain confidence and improve your boat handling skills or if you simply want to sit back and enjoy the experience I will customise the experience to meet your individual needs and make sure it is good fun!
You’ll spend the day on board sailing and exploring the local inshore waters of the stunning Fal or Helford Rivers, we’ll sail to a sheltered anchorage for lunch and possibly have a trip ashore to walk or swim.
Exact destination will depend on the weather and tides and on your sailing needs!
There are so many options of destinations in this amazing sailing area, picturesque little harbours, stunning quiet anchorages, sandy coves, the peaceful upper reaches of the Fal or Helford, the famous Frenchman’s creek, or even visit the subtropical gardens of Trebah!
We’ll sail Piper back to her mooring in the Percuil creek where we will finish off your day with a cream tea on board before ferrying you in our mini rib back to St Mawes harbour.
Collection and drop off will be from St Mawes harbour at 10am and approximately 5pm. Click here for a map to St Mawes harbour.
Piper of Percuil
Piper is a 27 foot Hurley Yacht, built 50 years ago in the traditional style, a truly retro yacht with traditional hull design. We have renovated her throughout but maintained her 70’s features, she is simple and steady to sail, perfect for learning the ropes.
